Despite the shenanigans of the Federal Trade Commission, Food and Drug Administration and large corporate interests in the pharmaceutical, chemical, food processing, genetic engineering and health industries, truth in advertising is an important virtue to be nourished.
When Blue Mesa issues a Certificate of Authenticity to a personal or company domain on the Internet, we guarantee the public that we have verified the truth of your advertising; and we continue to monitor the content of your web for truthfulness in advertising.
If Blue Mesa ever questions the truthfulness of any claim you make on your website, we will immediately advise you of our concern and launch an in-depth investigation. If we find a problem with the veracity of your claim, we will immediately notify you with complete details and suspend our certification of your website.
Owners of websites on suspension have 24 clock hours to remedy any false information or their certification will be revoked. By signing our Certification Agreement you give us permission to publish the certification of your website by Blue Mesa (BMCRS) and any suspension or revocation of your certification. We do not publish the first or second suspension, but thereafter we will make this information public. Continued false advertising is cause for having your certification revoked.
The message is clear: if you intend to publish false information on your website, do not apply for a Certificate of Authenticity from Blue Mesa Certification and Registration Services. Our staff take their responsibility to the public very seriously, very seriously indeed.
